Dictionary of Sino-Chinese wisdom
The spoken language is a long-standing, hammered term in the Chinese language. Most of them consist of four words, which, in extremely fine language, provide a high profile of historical stories, myths, ancient philosophy or social phenomena. The proper use of words in modern writing and communication can make languages more representative and culturally embedded.
Why the “source” of the words?
Many words literally mean things that are quite different from their true meaning or their use is strictly limited. Understanding the historical origins of words (sic) is the best way to avoid “spoken words”. For example, “the air comes from empty holes” is meant to mean “the wind comes from a cave”, and metaphors and rumours are produced for a reason and on a basis; But in modern times, due to the cynicism, it is often mistook for metaphors of the news as unfounded. You will learn the most true use of words through the classics of the scriptures (e.g. History, the State Policy).
2. How can the vocabulary be built up efficiently?
- Contact Story Memory: Words are often a microbreeding “short novel”. The story of the King's refusal to tolerate humiliation is behind “Bing-a-Bing-Bing-Bing-Bing-Bing-Bing” for example. Remembering the story, the words never forget.
- Wordmaking practice: It is not enough to know what it means. In particular, this tool provides practical “exemplary” references to help learners understand the correct way in which the language is embedded in the modern white language context.
- Compare the meaning/reverse: Learning by contrast in groups of words (e.g., by throwing in the vs) can greatly improve the accuracy of the terms.
“Speaking pit-scrap guide” in writing
When writing correspondence, press releases or academic papers, the misuse of words can lead to articles that appear to be overstretched or even speech-related. The core principle is “less and less”. The words are used only where there is a need to be a high degree of generalization or a high level of emulation, while the words are “sympathizing” (such as “caps-up-up-up-up-up” is a derogatory term and cannot be used to celebrate the promotion of good friends).
