How do we use the warehouse-held gain and loss calculator?
The calculation of gains and losses in encrypted currency transactions is not simply a “sale price minus purchase price”. Fee is a key factor affecting the eventual net profit. This calculator is designed to help traders to master the following data:
Analysis of key terms
- Buy Cost (Buy Cost): is the original input you made when buying the asset, without the handling fee.
- Purchase/intake fees: Commissions charged by the exchange. Most mainstream exchanges (e.g., François, Euy) have rates of about 0.1%.
- Net PnL: Final profit or loss after deducting the charge of two-way handling for purchase and sale.
- Rate of return (ROI): % net surplus/loss relative to total cost (value + fee for purchase).
Profiling formula
1. Total inputs = (Aspect price x quantity) x (1 + buy-in rate)
2. Net outputs = (Sale price x quantity) x (1 - Sold rate)
3. Net surplus/shortfall = net output - total inputs
4. Rate of return = (net surplus/total input) x 100%
Why consider the charges?
Two-way handling fees (usually 0.2 per cent) for high frequency or small band transactions The profit margin is significantly reduced. By using this tool, you can preface the net gains at different prices before the next list, thus creating a more scientific plan for the cessation of gain and loss.
