What's the IP address?
Basic concepts
IP address is the digital label assigned to the network device. IPv4 by 32 The binary is composed of two-digits, usually expressed as “point-to-point decile” (e.g. 192,168.1.1).
Conversion Meaning
Replacing IP Conversion to Decimal or Hexadecimal contributes to the optimization of database storage (space saving, index speed), network programming (Socket) Interface requirements) and security analysis (e.g. circumventing simple filters).
Format and composition of IPv4 addresses
Although binary processing is used within computers, the point-of-decimal method is more in line with human reading habits. The range of values for each part (Octet) is 0 to 255.

The difference between the IP of the Internet and the IP of the Internet
The RFC 1918 defines three private address ranges, dedicated to the internal LAN:
-
10.0.0.0-10.255.255.255(Category A) -
172.16.0.0-172.31.255.255(Category B) -
192.168.0.0-192.168.255.255(C)
These private addresses have effectively mitigated the depletion of IPv4 addresses by communicating with the public network through NAT technology.
