What's WebSocket? What's the difference between it and HTTP?

WebSocket is a protocol for full-time communication on a single TCP connection. With HTTP The “request-response” mode is different, WebSocket Allowing servers to proactively transfer data to clients is well suited to applications that require high real-time performance.

WebSocket Tests for Key Characteristics of Client

  • Debug two-way communications: Real time text or JSON data sent and received, observation data delayed.
  • The security agreement supports: Perfect fit wss://encrypted connection to ensure that the development environment is consistent with the production environment.
  • The message is traced back: Automatically records all messages sent (outgoing) and received (incoming) to support one key emptying.
  • Connection status monitoring: Real time feedback on connections, disconnects, errors etc. helps to sort out network problems.

WebSocket Core Applications

1. Organisation For chat applications like Micro-Credit, Slack, etc., you need to sync the ms.

2. Financial transaction system: Real-time data are sent on stock movements, virtual currency price fluctuations, etc.

3. Online collaboration tools: When multiple editors edit documents, whiteboards synchronize, ensuring that all participants see the same content.

4. Networking of things (IOT): Sensor data are reported and sent out by remote command.
