❓ Common question answer
Q: Can you maintain the hyperlinks and bookmarks from the original PDF after split?
A: Page contents (including hyperlinks) are kept intact, but document-level bookmarks (catalogues) are not automatically inherited into a split file.
Q: Support encrypted or password-protected PDFs?
A: Encryption of PDF is not supported, so please use a professional tool to unprotect passwords before the split is performed.
Q: What if the page preview is loaded slowly?
A: The rendering of PDFs with more pages or complex pages takes time, and the thumbnails are loaded on a step-by-step basis. It is recommended that the selection be performed after the rendering has been completed.
Q: How many files will be generated per N page mode?
A: Number of output files = total number of pages/ N-tip (uplifting). For example, 20 pages of PDF split by three pages generate seven files (6 x 3 pages + 1 x 2 pages).
Q: Is there a file limit?
A: There are no server restrictions, but they are limited to browser memory. There is no problem with handling PDF within 500 MB in general. For super-large files, it is recommended that the Chrome browser be used to obtain optimal performance.
