Keyword density analysis

Professional SEO Content Optimization Tool

What's a keyword density analysis?

Key word density usually indicates the frequency of a word or phrase appearing in a text, which is used to determine whether the article is organized around a clear theme. Keyword density analysis is not a direct rating criterion for the ranking of searches and there is no fixed percentage applied to all pages. What is really important is whether the content answers user questions, whether the keyword is natural and whether the title, body text and related expressions together cover the search intent.

What difference does it make between the frequency of keywords and the density of keywords?

The frequency of keywords is the number of times the target word appears in the text, while the density of keywords is the ratio between the number of occurrences and the total statistical text. Repetition in short articles may result in a higher percentage, while repetition in long articles may be lower, making the two indicators of frequency and ratio more reliable. This tool also counts the total number of words, the total number of characters, non-repeat and high frequency words, which facilitate multiple angles of content.

Why check the use of keywords?

  • Confirm theme coverage: Checks if the core words are naturally appearing in the body of the text, avoiding disconnection between the article and the page title.
  • Repeated expression found: In combination with the list of high frequency words, identify consecutive repetitions, mechanical insertions or paragraphs affecting reading flow.
  • Additional relevant words: Add natural expressions related to the subject, user issues and entity outside the core word, rather than repeating only the same word.

Is there a uniform ideal word density?

There is no generic security threshold confirmed by the search engine and no recommendation to force the rewrite of articles to reach a certain percentage. Low and high density tips in tools are only empirical reminders that allow for initial screening, and do not represent the ranking rules for search engines. The density result should be used as an editorial reference: if the keyword is read in a sudden manner, repeat sentences can be deleted, natural synonyms used or useful information added; If the subject matter was not sufficiently expressed, the coverage should be improved rather than simply repeating keywords. The final criteria are readability, information value and search intent match.

What do you need to know about Chinese and English?

In Chinese, there is usually no space-separated word, while in English it is affected by case-writing, single-numbered and word-shaped changes. A tool is appropriate for quickly comparing the occurrence of a keyword in a text, but it does not fully understand the semantic, synonym, synonym or context of the term. The results should be combined with manual reading, not being a substitute for professional subwords, semantic analysis or search data, nor can they be used separately to forecast rankings.

How to use the Keyword Density Analysis Tool?

  1. Paste draft articles, web pages or product descriptions to text boxes.
  2. Enter one or more target keywords, with multiple keywords separated by commas.
  3. View the list of keyword occurrence, density, average density and high frequency.
  4. The modification, retention or addition of the relevant content is decided depending on whether the statement is natural or complete.

A simple analytical example

Assuming that the target keyword appears five times in an article with 500 words, the tool will show a frequency of five times and calculate the density of about 1% at 5 ÷500. This number will only help you to identify the possibility of over-repeated or under-expressed themes; If the keyword appears in the title, text and conclusions and the words are natural, it is usually more important than simply pursuing a percentage.
